Overview

This phased mixed-use development project, located adjacent to the Mt. Baker Light Rail Station, will begin with Phase 1, comprising Buildings 1 and 2. These 8-story buildings will deliver 238 affordable residential units ranging from studios to 4-bedroom apartments, including family-oriented 4-bedroom townhouses. The design integrates key support elements such as a shared below-grade parking garage, community spaces, and storage/support areas. Building 1 will provide a core and shell space for the future early learning center, while Building 2 features a 4,000-square-foot Community Hub designed to function as a neighborhood cooling center with enhanced air filtration, particularly during periods of extreme heat or smoke. All residential units will include in-unit heating and balanced ventilation to promote occupant comfort and health.
