Shashank’s lifelong curiosity about energy use shows up in every project he touches, bringing thoughtful analysis and a genuine drive to make each building smarter and more efficient.
Raised in a small town centered around a thermal power plant, Shashank developed a fascination with energy generation and efficiency from an early age. The complex systems powering the community inspired him to pursue a degree in Mechanical engineering, laying the foundation for a career in energy analysis and sustainable building design. Today, as an energy analyst at Delta E, he specializes in energy code consulting for Seattle and the Washington state energy code, alongside green building certification programs. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and developers, Shashank optimizes building performance through expertise in envelope performance consulting, HVAC system design, and building energy modeling, delivering energy-efficient, cost-effective, and occupant-centric outcomes.
Outside of work, Shashank enjoys competing in local badminton and soccer games (KTBFFH) and has recently embraced meditation as a daily habit to enhance focus and well-being.
