As a dedicated citizen of earth, Kaylee finds gratification directing her knowledge and efforts toward increasing net good for all life on the planet, a cause that her work for sustainability in the built environment contributes to every day.
Kaylee's education in mechanical engineering, background in ecological systems, experience in construction management, and passion for relationship-building and teamwork have all combined to shape her into the sustainability consultant she is today. Kaylee’s work spans building types and sustainability goals, leading her to treat each project as a unique opportunity to enact tailored sustainability measures. This work includes leading teams to achieve sustainability and wellness certifications such as LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, and Fitwel; performing verification as a LEED Green Rater and Energy Rater; supporting affordable housing to meet sustainable standards; and performing Whole Building Life Cycle Assessments.
When she’s not working, Kaylee finds joy “exerting herself in nature” while running, hiking, backpacking, and climbing or relishing in movement through yoga and dance. Her “seated” hobbies typically involve a classic novel or her guitar.
