For over 15 years, Eric has contributed his expertise as the Mechanical Chair of the Washington State Building Code Council and as a member of the Seattle Construction Codes Advisory Board, helping shape policies that support sustainable, energy-efficient buildings across the region.
Eric brings nearly 30 years of experience in mechanical system design and construction, with a career that spans both MEP consulting firms and design-build mechanical contractors throughout Western Washington. Widely recognized as a regional leader in high-performance building design, Eric specializes in guiding integrative design teams to develop efficient, resilient, and forward-thinking solutions tailored to unique project goals. With an integrative approach that considers the entire building envelope and MEP systems, Eric thoughtfully balances energy efficiency, carbon reduction, occupant wellness, and operational practicality in every project he leads. His portfolio includes a diverse range of public and private sector projects—from highly specialized facilities to large-scale, multi-tower mixed-use developments. Eric’s deep technical knowledge is matched by his long-standing involvement in building code development in Washington State.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys quality time with his family and cheering on the Seattle Sounders at home games.
