Since beginning her career in 2007, Emily has cultivated deep expertise in lighting design and controls, establishing herself as a trusted expert known for delivering thoughtful and impactful design solutions. As the Principal Lighting Designer at Delta E, she leads with a deep understanding of both architectural lighting design and advanced lighting controls. She plays a pivotal role in Delta E's holistic design approach, and her work is guided by a strong commitment to integrating energy efficiency, code compliance, and budget-conscious strategies without sacrificing the artistic and emotional impact of light. Her designs consistently reflect a balance of aesthetic goals, constructability and budget—illuminating spaces in ways that are both innovative and grounded in purpose. Emily’s dedication to excellence and hands-on involvement have earned her numerous awards.
Outside of work, Emily cherishes quality time with her family and finds joy in exploring new environments through travel, seeking out fresh scenery and diverse cultures that inspire her both personally and professionally. She aims to travel a new place each year, embracing the opportunity to broaden her perspective. At home in the Pacific Northwest, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, beaches, or simply taking in the natural beauty of the region.
