In addition to project work, Ben serves as the Mechanical Engineer representative on the Washington State Building Code Council, where he actively contributes to the development of statewide building codes.
Ben’s career has taken him across continents, from Japan to Chicago, and ultimately back to Washington State. This geographic diversity has shaped his design approach, bringing new perspectives to local design challenges. His collaborative mindset and inventive problem-solving skills consistently lead to high-quality, cost-effective outcomes. Ben brings a wide-ranging portfolio of experience in residential, workplace, and mission-critical projects. His technical expertise and practical insight have made him a trusted resource for complex mechanical systems, with a focus on performance, efficiency, and constructability.
Outside the office, Ben enjoys unplugging with his family and two kids and spending time outdoors, including fishing and biking.
